She annulled its effective position that it had taken all reasonable steps to ascertain the whereabouts of records covered by the request (section 15(1)(a)) and directed the Department to make a new decision on this matter in accordance with the provisions of the FOI Act. She affirmed its application of sections 15(1)(i) (records available to the applicant), 31(1)(a) (legal professional privilege) and 42(f) (Attorney General records) to some of the records. She found that section 37(1) (personal information) applied to the rest and that the public interest did not weigh in favour of their release.
